Michele Biamonte

Michele Biamonte has extensive expertise identifying and developing early career leaders. She is a dynamic speaker and facilitator of workshops and coaches individuals on career development, performance management and individual leadership. She has spent the last ten years working with Harvard Business School where she currently coaches their MBA students on career development issues. As a member of the HBS Admissions Board, she reviewed applications / resumes and conducted interviews – and had the opportunity to learn about various career paths and what it takes to be a successful leader across industries.

Before joining HBS, Michele was an Associate at J.P. Morgan where she led the recruiting, development and performance management of their Internal Consulting Training Program. She had the opportunity to coach early career professionals as they navigated their new world of work and unleashed their potential. She originally spent several years rotating through investment management, private banking, and financial/risk management as an analyst in their training program.

Michele earned her Ed.M. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education where she focused on adult development and individual leadership. She studied the importance of transition points and personal self-reflection in making critical life decisions. Michele enjoys working with college students and early career professionals as they explore new career paths and package their personal portfolio of experiences and skills. She is a Certified Administrator of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and has been trained to interpret the CareerLeader Assessment tool.
